MEDICAL INFO: Mason is heartworm positive and has begun treatment. This is a monthly injection that is needed for about 18 months. It is highly recommended by our vet and has been very effective and safe. The cost is relatively inexpensive at under $15 a month and he is worth every penny. This dog is up to date on vaccinations, spayed / neutered, on advantage or frontline, and microchipped.

SPECIAL MEDICAL NEEDS...

Canine Castaways has had many dogs requiring extra special medical attention. We also rescue many dogs that require heartworm treatment or extensive dentals. We could not fund these extra expenses without all of the hard work done by our volunteers to raise funds!! We also have many senior dogs adopted with a reduced adoption donation regardless of their expenses. This makes our extra fundraising even more important. Keep up the good work!!
